Adjusting for kicks

Per Chuck yesterday

When holding thai pads
You step back to give them room to kick so they're not so crowded

If you're the kicker
- if padholder doesn't step back, you'll be crowded. Instead of stepping forward, you'd step to the side in the direction your pivot foot is pointing. So for right kick, you'd step out to left. For left kick, step out laterally to the right.
- if padholder doesn't step back, you wouldn't step forward cuz wouldn't have room to kick but you'd have room to knee or elbow
