teep
-rechamber the teep unless you're stepping forward with it on purpose
-the front teep is shorter range than rear teep because base is the rear foot
-the rear teep is longer range because the base becomes the front foot

countering the teep
-there's the swipe like kru mark taught and the catch

swipe
-that's not the actual name i just dont know what to call it
-only swipe from the elbow down; keep your guard up
-you swipe with the diagonal hand. so your left hand would swipe their left foot. wouldn't matter if they did a lead or rear teep.
-you swipe and always lead their leg across their body

following up after the swipe
-whatever side your loaded on you follow up with a punch or a kick. so if i swipe with my right hand, to my right side, i follow up with a cross or a right kick

catch
-you catch like a football, one hand on top and one on bottom
-then you toss his leg across his body
-then you follow up like you did with the swipe
