some clinch stuff from daniel the other day

basically be aware of elbows

-so when pummeling, you control the elbow from the outside before snaking it in

-if there arm is over yours, you raise your elbow to keep connection with them so they can't elbow you

-not r/t elbows: there's the face push and also the x-push

some other ideas from various videos

-clinch coming in from frame / long guard / blocks

-clinch coming in with a fake teep where you lift knee up and then hop in and clinch

-clinching with an overhook (like my overhook guard from bjj)

-clinching with arm triangle

-for full plum, squeeze your elbows together and make sure your elbows/forearms are on his chest so he can't close the distance on you for takedown or to go hip to hip

-if they have one arm on your neck, you can do
*"wax off" to clear it.
*or do "wax off" to grab their neck.
*or do "wax off" to push their chest. I personally wouldnt bench them maybe arm to chest and step away
*or another one that's my idea is you can "wax off" to overhook clinch control

-if they do push face defense, you can pop their arm up and over and get arm triangle control

-for plum
*have hands overlapped and maybe wrists crossed over
*using head as a third appendage is very helpful
*push your elbows into their chest

-come in from long blocking / framing to double bicep control to knee

-if your arms are over theirs, you can throw elbows

-if their arms are over yours grabbing your neck
*you can comb your hair to break their grip
*you can squeeze your hand in just enough to get inside bicep control

-if you have outside bicep control, you can throw side elbow

-when you have plum and you pivot, you pull them down not horizontal

-if they reach one arm to grab in, you can get outside elbow control and do an  up elbow on the free side
